Zombie attack candle wraps

Hi all, jen t here. Today i am stopping by to share a fun project that you can do to dress up your candles for Halloween. It is a great way to use up your paper scraps and stickers too. Grab a pillar candle or 2 and your Zombie Attack collection. Cut and wrap a strip of paper around and glue at the seam then layer on some more strips or stickers to your liking and finish with a tied piece of twine. Have a great day and happy creating!! :)

Diy a transparency ribbon

Hi all, i am stopping by to share a technique i used to make a diy transparent ribbon that was on my witch hat. Here is a picture tutorial:
Pick out your favorite Moxxie patterned paper( i think this technique looks better with patterned paper)  cut a piece of packing tape and stick it down onto the pp and smooth it out to make sure it it stuck on well. Don't worry if you get wrinkles it just gives it texture.

Then, cut the taped strip of paper you just made off the page still leaving the  tape on. So now you have a piece of patterned tape.. Now take it a run it under warm water to get the paper wet.. Yes wet. Start rubbing off the paper from the back of the tape.. I know it feels so wrong but as the paper peels off you will be left with tape with the pattern still attached and it transparent.  Pat dry and you are ready to use on a page or project.
Pic below is after paper is rubbed off the back.. It is a patterned transparency now:)
For my witch hat, i just tore my piece into smaller strips and used it like a ribbon around the top brim of the hat . Here is a pic of it finished below.
Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!!  jen t:)

every leaf speaks to me- Autumn card for moxxie

hi all, happy fall!.....finally! I am so excited to put up my fall decorations, to take walks in the crisp cool air and watch the leaves fall!  That is why I love this sayin on the sticker sheet.- Every leaf speaks to me, fluttering from the autumn tree -. So I just had to add it to a card. I made a 6 x 6 using the backside of the football paper from the grid iron collection and then cut another and glued them back to back so the same pattern would be on the inside too. next, I took different strips of patterned paper from the autumn glory collection and a bar code strip where i layered and distressed them . Then, I picked out the saying sticker and added that to the leaf patterned paper. I then, gathered a piece of burlap ribbon and added a flower I made using the grid iron paper to anchor the card. next, I inked and distressed around the card and then added stick-on pearls pretty it up some more. lastly, I took a journal card from the grid iron collection and added it to the inside to have  area to write a note. thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!   jen t.
