just add glitter! card using the tombow mono glue pen

hi all , Today, I am stopping by to share a card I made using my new tombow mono glue pen that i used to put it all together. I made a 6 x 6 card using illustrated faith papers and stickers I got from the scrapbook expo., epoxy sticker as well as wow pink glitter to fancy it up a bit.

**I used the glue pen to adhere the glitter as well as the paper to the card base**

to add the glitter I just used the glue pen to draw the glue around the edge the round flower designs then I added loose glitter shook off the excess . the glitter stuck where i  drew and left a beautiful shimmer on my card. It is all in the details!

Today I am sharing with you a mixed media page I made using the garden shed kit. The base  paper is a lil bit of a story... it was a mint green piece of cardstock that I happened to get a lil white gesso crazy on and I was trying to make it work with another picture I had from a previous cs page I made and kinda tossed it to the side for a week after I added pink watercolor to it. But, then I started with this picture of my 6 yr old then 4 and grabbed that paper back rubbed turquoise gelato thru the word stencil from the kit and splashed some ink and started adding to my base paper. That's' when my mojo started flowing. lol!  Later on, I went back when it was dry and started fussy cutting and punching different parts of the beautiful papers. I also stamped, fussy cut and punched pieces too. I added a bunch of layers under my photo and around the page. also, I punched with my border punch the top and bottom edge of the paper and tucked some turquoise paper behind it  for more interest. I lastly, made the title from alphas in my stash and a messy(I like messy lol!)  bow, tied with fibers and a water can pot. oh and I forgot I added more of that pink watercolor paint to the butterflies and watering cans and apples in the paper too.

club scrap september team challenge page

Hi all, i am stopping by today to share a 12 x 12 page I made for the September club scrap team challenge. If you are hopping along welcome from pam's blog- Thttp://apeelingpapercrafts.blogspot.com/2016/09/club-scrap-garden-shed-artist-team.html?m=1 

he challenge this month is to use wood elements on our projects. For my page I used the CS Garden Shed kit and stamps. I started out using mint  green paper as my base and the took the stencil from the kit and used white chalk ink to add words around the left of the page.  Next, I cut a circle from the honeycomb paper and made that my sun. For the rays I used the wooden garden picks from the kit and triangles cut from the yellow cardstock. Then, I layered on strips of pattern paper, cutaparts and cardstock under and around  the picture.to the far right I took 3 of the beautiful fiber & ribbons and put them from top to bottom to be my border. lastly, I added more detail with the  wooden buttons, wooden flower and word(from my stash),then added "you are my" with my stamps and cut them out and adhered them, along with  punched hearts and doodle lines on my sun. the picture is of my oldest daughter before her eighth grade dance. I know I have scrapped a similar pic of her before but her smile in this one is just so stinkin cute that I had to scrap it. All items from my page used the club scrap garden shed kit and stamps except for items noted above. thanks soo much for stopping by and happy creating!!

Stuck sketch challenge page using cs gardenshed kit and stamps

Hi all, today i am stopping by to share a page i made for the stuck sketch challenge.  I love this sketch and had so much fun with it!! The picture is of my oldest daughter coming home from school and my lil guy looking at her through the storm door at her on the outside of it. I used the club scrap garden shed kit and stamps to make this page which included all the cardstock, pattern paper, butterfly, love and collage stamps ,wooden tags, fibers and cutaparts.  From my stash was the thread, doily and lil circle stickers.

Oriental trading has halloween costumes! :)

Hi all, are you ready for fall and halloween like i am?! i am pretty tired of the heat so i am thinking fall. My fall decorations are going up this week for sure! This week the girls costumes came and now they are getting excited for Halloween. Today,  they tried on their costumes from oriental trading. They love them!!! My oldest is the Dragon Ninja in pink and my middle one is Mal from the disney movie descendants( we are all about that movie too btw we have watched it a dozen times already..lol!) Their costumes are true to size too and good quality.

Club scrap september Technique challenge

Hi all, today i am stopping by to share a page i made for club scraps blog technique challenge. The challenge is to take a sketch for a card and make it into a scrapbook page and visa versa. Below is a page maps card sketch i found on Pinterest as my sketch to make my scrapbook page with.  The puc i used is of my youngest daughter and son a few years ago. Everything used on my page is from the club scrap gardenshed kit. Additions to my page not in the kit are- sewing thread, pink watercolor paint( to bring out the pink in my dd's dress) ,marker, and punches. Oh,  i got a new mini punch... Can you tell i like my lil heart punch?! It is great to have to punch your scraps of paper that you have leftover.  Make sure you link up your challenge project on the club scrap blog too.

Use those tombow markers and colored pencils-

Hi all, today I'm stopping by with a 6 x 6 card I made using the tombow dual brush markers and recycled colored pencils. I made the background with the plastic packaging technique and the brush markers and water. And the stamped girl i colored with the tombow  recycled colored pencils. Lastly, i used the new quick start mono permanent adhesive to glue it all together. This tape ran so smoothly over everything even the doily.  So fun! All these parts i colored at different times and put them all together to make this fun card! Here are some pics of it:
