my christmas prayer: God of compassion, there is such a hole in my heart! Today should be a day of joy, but I feel only emptiness and loss. While the world celebrates around me, I remember Christmas celebrations of the past and I long to have my loved one with me. I bring my sorrows to you, Lord, like some odd gift of the magi and dump them at your feet. In my blind tears I wonder if anyone can possibly understand the depth of my sadness. I know, you can. You sent your son to be with us in our deepest sorrows and I know that even though I might not feel it now, you are here with me, grieving with me, caring for me in my sadness. Dearest lord, help me to turn to the one I miss so much today and speak. Help me heal the loss of our parting and help me not to regret the things I didn't say. Sorrow tears at my heart, but today I ask that my loss soften my heart and make me more compassionate with everyone I meet, so that my loss may become a gift to others. merry christmas mom! we miss ya!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR HOME TO YOURS!!!!! hi all, just wanted to pop on and say merry christmas and share some lo's i did this week. these are lo's from my dd's yearly 11x 14 pics that i had in a frame...so i figured i'd crop them and scrap them so they don't get ruined in a drawer somewhere....it is so neat to see how much she has grew and changed over the years...i will post as new school pic of her once i scan it. i wish you all a great holiday and happy new year! can't wait to see what goodies santa brought ya on your blogs! :)---jen t.

hi all,this is all i have for ya this week.when i was suppose to be starting my x-mas cards at my friend jenn's i decided to put that aside and make my paper tree.i had seen this in a mag and on some site done with ribbon...so being cheap that i am i made a budget friendly version. i got styrofoam cone from dollar store, strips of paper from jenn z' stash,a.c. chippy star with stickles rubbed on from my stash,and pins at walmart for a dollar...and wahallla!...paper x-mas tree. thanks for visiting! have a great day and if i dont get to blog before christmas........MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! get creative with storage

hi all popping on to show you how i am getting creative with storage..cause i am running out of room in my little house for scrapping stuff.lol! lately i have found a love for collecting picnic baskets..i have dvds and cds in some,puzzles,kitchen stuff, and now scrappy stuff.....i love this one because i have my scrappy stuff in it. so i think i have to go thrift store shopping again soon for more like this...love it!and the cool scraponizer(i won from dawn) is great! i already have most of my flowers in them...i just have to decorate it with the cool stuff she gave me with it..and when it is done it will look like pic # 2...cool right?! and i fits on my closet shelf perfect and right into my bag if i am going scrapping.oh! an don't forget to get in on the little giveaway a couple of posts down i will be picking a winner on friday!! talk to you all soon! jen t.
