Happy national scrapbooking day!!!

Hi all, happy national scrapbooking day!!! Today i am poppin on to share with you a few projects i made using the happy mail i got from tombow last week. ( pic below)

Here is a 12x12 page i made using the graphic 45 enchanted forest pattern papers,stickers and chipboard elements.

For this 12x12 page i diecut a grey cardstock from my stash with a tringle cut from my card cricut catridge and backed it with white cardstock from my stash as well.  The patterned papers i used are from the fancy pants attwell 6x6 paper pad. I also used the fancy pants puffy letters and stickers , tags and flair. For the word school and party i used letters from  simple stories let's party collection.  And lastly, blue gelatos from my stash was used for some of the background. 

For both pages i adhered all elements with tombow permanant mono adhesive.

Club scrap dahlia blog hop

Hi all, Welcome to the Club scrap dahlia blog hop!!! Hope you are enjoying the awesome projects so far!!

today i am sharing with you a 12x12 page and a fun upcycle project to use up your scraps.

for this page, i first started with cutting black cs cardstock slightly smaller then the fuchsia card stock and matted it on top. Then I took the beautiful butterfly washi tape and put strips of it near the center of the black club scrap card stock, making it large enough for my photo and embellishments to fit. Then i took the white cs splat stamp from the dahlia deluxe stamp set and used white ink to stamp some random splats to make a trail for my butterflies and cluster on the bottom. I then layered of butterfly diecut along with two pink kind of parts to put under my photo.next, I am in my butterflies are the mingle the picture and then mean a little cluster on the bottom right of the page to echo the same colors and papers from the my middle of the page. Lastly,  I stamped  the year and used letter stickers from my stash to make my title. Oh and i almost forgot i added three little black felt buttons from the kit around the page too.

Lastly for my quick project i took old stamp blocks i had in my stash( i started unmounting my wood block stamps) 

And made a lil decor with them . I like the bold look of doodled letters so i freehand drew my letters on cs fushia paper and fussy cut them out and then with scraps of the other pp i cut papers to size and glued them on and inked the edges. And that's it. I had a ton of fun with this kit!

tip-if you wanted to use these blocks a an outdoor decoration just coat with clear polyurethane to seal the paper in.

Club scrap april artist team challenge 4/25/16

Hi all, are you in love with the april dahlia kit like me?! So, for this months challenge we were asked to make projects with either handmade paper butterflies or flowers on it. Well i love both but i love butterflies just a lil more. So i got a lil butterfly punch and diecut crazy and  made a wreath and a 12 x12 page . For the wreath i started with about 12 in x 3 inch pieces of currogated plastic ( i had in my stash) but you can easily use cardboard too because you are going to cover it with paper anyway. Which is the next step cut and glue on paper the same size the glue pieces together. Now my original plan was to use those big blooms i watercolored from the white embossed paper but they just didn't work ( see previous post i used them to make pretty cards) so then i gessoed the wreath form and didn't know where to go from there then i had an idea-( this is the part when i punched like a 100 butterflies from the other patterned papers from the kit. Started glueing them on and kept going . I then added the orangee welcome diecut and some flowers. Lastly, i am thankful i put the gesso down, because i took out orange watercolors and painted and splashed orange on and in between all the butterflies to give it a lil more pizzaz and touch up all around with wink of stella . Finally i added a ribbon and hung it on my front door. :)

For my 12x12 page i diecut med and large butterflies in the white and purple and the word spring in yellow . I used the negative white sheet of butterfly cut paper and layed it over the floral patterned paper. Then i layered on and pop dotted the white and purple butterflies. Then i added dazzler stickers that i colored black with an alcohol marker. And i also made some faux flair with my punch, patterned paper, and epo xy stickers for the white butterfly centers. Here are the cards i made: i used the cool white embossed paper and added color with my gelatos and water brush then i fussy cut them out. Next i took a white paint pen to add some faux crack lines then coated it with think layer of glossy effects to finish the look. Lastly, i stamped out my sentiments and butterflies, added my ribbons and circle sparkle stickers .
