today im sharing with you a 12 x12 page i made for the team challenge. the challenge was to use the alpha stencils we were given in our projects. these alpha stencils are fab! i had a blast getting inky and rubbing green ink onto the alpha stencils to make my title that framed pictures from my wedding. the pictures are of our family and friends singing by the dashboard light by meatloaf together. that was such a fun time!

and if you are familiar with the song some of the lyrics made my page title- love me forever- ( actually the part is will you love me forever but i opted for the positive wordage) do i have you singing the song in your head yet?! lol!

Club scrap succulents blog hop

Hi all, welcome to the club scrap succulents blog hop! If you are hopping along with us then you are here from the talented cheryl's blog and if you get lost along the way or want to start at the beginning just head to karen's post here . Today i am sharing a 12 x 12 page i made in memory of my mother-in-law. I miss her so much!  I used the club scrap succulents kit to make my page. I took the beautiful pic of her and layered the colored cardstocks and cutaparts behind her picture so that it would pop on the pattern paper. Then i wrapped the grey ribbon around to anchor the pic. Lastly,to highlight the beautiful succulents pattern i added sequins to add sparkle and wink of stella onto my handcut title. Items from my stash are the sequins and the doily. Cs page for stuck sketch challenge

Hi all😃, today I'm stopping by to share a 12 x 12 page I made using the club scrap succulents deluxe kit for the stuck sketch blog sketch challenge. The picture is of  my oldest lounging ( she was pretending she was sleeping) on the couch wearing her mermaid blanket from santa. So, for this page i fussy the beautiful succulents from the pattern papers and bits and pieces of the pattern paper and cutaparts . Next., i added and stamped mint green onto the canvas tag and fussy cut hearts as well out of another tag to add some texture.  Lastly, i embellished with fibers, doilies and sequins. such a pretty and versatile kit!!

All items are from the kit except the doilies and sequins are from my stash.

January club scrap team challenge

hi all, I can't believe this is the last day of January already! today I am stopping by to share a 12 x 12 page I made for the club scrap team challenge this month. if you are hopping along with us then you are here from Hetty's blog. If you get lost along the way or want to start at the beginning head to karens post here. the challenge was to use a faux batik technique on our projects. below are pics of the steps on how I achieved the background to look like faux batik. I just had so much fun getting inky and painty on this page. Do you remember the dragonfly I misted a few posst back? yup, it made an appearance on this page too. I just fussy cut it out and added it to the page as a layer. all the goodies including papers,cardstock,metal dots,and cutaparts are from the  club scrap color me happy kit. the tools I used are:  brayer, water sprayer, silver metallic ink, irodescent glitter, blue and green acrylic paint, metallic marker(came with the deluxe kit)

page is made on the Yupo paper also included in the deluxe kit.

below is a 12 x 12 page I made of my middle child with everything from the color me happy kit(brown and white ribbon on border, patterned papers and cardstock as well as gold dots and cut parts with the exception to the gold alphas and doily from my stash. I also used the sketch from the club scrap forum card sketch challenge to use as my inspiration for my page. Page for the LGS challenge

Hi all, today  i am stopping by to share a page l made for the lets get sketchy challenge. For this page i am using the beautiful blue card-stock and blue &silver patterned paper from the club scrap color me happy kit . I also used the pretty white and brown ribbon as well as the silver dots to add more interest to the page from the kit. The silver letter stickers and doilies are from stash. The lgs sketch was super fun to work with and i just loved how it helped me to showcase three pics of my son at Christmas. Here is the challenge i entered :
