Club scrap November team challenge

Hi all , If you are hopping along with us welcome from Hetty's blog. if you get lost along the way start here with Karen at club scraps blog. today i am here to share with you a page i made for the club scrap team challenge. Here is the challenge: 

 

So for my 12 x12 page i used the once upon a time stamp from the enchanted forest stamp set and the floral cluster from the girlfriends stamp set that of which i stamped onto white cardstock and fussycut out. I then added them around and on my photo and accented then with some sparkle stickers. The background i made from the papers from the november paradise deluxe kit. I cut long triangles from the different bright papers using the shirt i am wearing in the picture as inspiration and sewing machine stitched them down.

Write out your own title

Can't find the write ( get it) letters to make a title ?! .. just write it out on cardstock and cut it out. I used my @tombowusa beginner lettering set the write it out i used the small calligraphy pen for the small words and the black dual brush marker for the larger words then i added shadow to the letters with the grey dual brush marker. Don't stress if letters aren't perfect , i don't . Club scrap technique challenge

Hi all,  I am super excited to be hosting the technique challenge this month at the club scrap blog

And guess what?! 

I want your fingers to get a lil painty this challenge. 

Grab your clear acrylic stamping block ( any size ya have and give these ideas a try) . Don't have a acrylic stamping block?no problem... grab a piece of clear food wrap, wax paper or plastic packaging and play with your paints the same way with them. I love the random artsy backgrounds the paints make . It is a great way to make a custom color your paper and use up those kit bits leftover from old projects. On my card and page i used my leftover bits from the dahlia kit and the picture of my daughter laying on the grass making a smiley face with her body and our yard balls.she is so cute.. right?!  

So to start i grabbed me pieces of white card stock and different water based/ water-reactive paints and just scribbled,rolled, and wet the paints a lil and stamped. So fun!!! Let my pics show ya the rest.
