i love this tutorial article!!!!

hi all, i love gettin more bang for my buck!!!...so i found this tutorial on scrapbooks and card today blog here is parts of the article and pics from her article: 3t's with Jana Eubank "Have you wondered how you could expand some of your scrapbook supplies so they went a little further? Well we have Jana Enbank with us today to share a tip using chipboard and making it go farther. Here's Jana with her tip for today: This is a really fun, shabby technique. Have you ever bought chipboard shapes and thought to yourself, "I wish there was more than one of this flower?" Or . . . "I really love this chipboard mini-album, but I just don't make mini-albums that often." Well, then do I have an idea for you! I received this cute Maya Road flower mini-album in a kit I purchased. I'm not really a mini-album kind of gal, so I decided to use the flowers as accents on my page! I cut off one sheet from the album and then soaked the chipboard flower in water for a minute. Next I pulled the layers apart, so I had several flowers. Maya Road album pages are particularly thick, so I was able to get FIVE multi-layered flowers from ONE page!!! WOW!!! Next I scrunched them up and shaped them and dried them with my heat gun. Here is what they look like. I painted two of them with White Distress Paint (one is in the top left of the previous photo) and then coated them with a layer of Hi Ho Silver Blingz by Shimmerz. Layer some other flowers and embellishments on top, and you have a darling flower embellishment for several pages! Yippeee!!! my dollar store finds and a few things i have been working on

Hi all, hope this day finds you keeping cool! It has been super hot here in N.J. lately!! i am only happy being in the pool or at the beach on these kind of days when i have to be outside and if not i am hiding in the air-conditioned house :) did you check out those cool brad sets i found----hello a dollar at dollar tree and they are fab!! i also found these cool name badge pockets that just happen to fit the Cosmo cricket journal cards( i think i am going to make a mini book with it) and also a fab little punch . i also have some new layouts i made this week and last week and a Hello card i made today. also wish me luck ...i am trying out for the card dt at if its groovy . it sounds like it would be alot of fun! thanks for stopping by and talk to you soon!! don't forget to check out the steals and deals section of my mw site.

hi all, i can't believe it is sunday again already!!!where did the week go?! i have been trying to do some road trips with my dd and dh cause he had a few days off while i am fighting a cold i got last sunday and i have been taking lots of dayquil...well let me say it is not working anymore so off to the doc's i go to get stronger stuff for me.anyhow i made the best of the week i could and i am hoping this week i am feeling better and so i can get some scrapping done:) o.k so enough about me...my mw pick of the week is fancy pants journaling sheets----they are so cool and economical!! one sheet is a buck and you can cut them out to make hang tags on presents or use them as a mini-book for those little wallet or photo booth pics you never know what to do with or as an accent on a card or just use them as a journaling tag on your scrapbook page.(just a few ideas) check them out here and here tfl! talk to you soon! jen t.
