my christmas prayer: God of compassion, there is such a hole in my heart! Today should be a day of joy, but I feel only emptiness and loss. While the world celebrates around me, I remember Christmas celebrations of the past and I long to have my loved one with me. I bring my sorrows to you, Lord, like some odd gift of the magi and dump them at your feet. In my blind tears I wonder if anyone can possibly understand the depth of my sadness. I know, you can. You sent your son to be with us in our deepest sorrows and I know that even though I might not feel it now, you are here with me, grieving with me, caring for me in my sadness. Dearest lord, help me to turn to the one I miss so much today and speak. Help me heal the loss of our parting and help me not to regret the things I didn't say. Sorrow tears at my heart, but today I ask that my loss soften my heart and make me more compassionate with everyone I meet, so that my loss may become a gift to others. merry christmas mom! we miss ya!

hi all,this is all i have for ya this week.when i was suppose to be starting my x-mas cards at my friend jenn's i decided to put that aside and make my paper tree.i had seen this in a mag and on some site done with ribbon...so being cheap that i am i made a budget friendly version. i got styrofoam cone from dollar store, strips of paper from jenn z' stash,a.c. chippy star with stickles rubbed on from my stash,and pins at walmart for a dollar...and wahallla!...paper x-mas tree. thanks for visiting! have a great day and if i dont get to blog before christmas........MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! get creative with storage

hi all popping on to show you how i am getting creative with storage..cause i am running out of room in my little house for scrapping stuff.lol! lately i have found a love for collecting picnic baskets..i have dvds and cds in some,puzzles,kitchen stuff, and now scrappy stuff.....i love this one because i have my scrappy stuff in it. so i think i have to go thrift store shopping again soon for more like this...love it!and the cool scraponizer(i won from dawn) is great! i already have most of my flowers in them...i just have to decorate it with the cool stuff she gave me with it..and when it is done it will look like pic # 2...cool right?! and i fits on my closet shelf perfect and right into my bag if i am going scrapping.oh! an don't forget to get in on the little giveaway a couple of posts down i will be picking a winner on friday!! talk to you all soon! jen t. hi all, tgif! how was your turkey day? well, mine started out bad but my dh(my hero) woke up and rescued me from the inside of the frozen turkey.lol!...it was all defrosted on the outside except the giblets and the neck were still frozen in the inside- ughh! and after a 1/2 hr fight with cold-watering the turkey to melt the ice...we finally got that bad boy 17 lb. turkey in the oven! then 5 hrs.later he ended up being quite tastey ! thank goodness!!so did you catch any good sales today?...leave a comment and tell me what you got cheap and where....cause cheap is my middle name! lol!(not really...lol! )---forgive me for having the silly's lately! i just got a few things at kohls 50% off and with a 15% off coupon--so i did good...but i have more to go!.. anyway, i just stopped by to share some lo's i made this week with ya's.have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!oh and spread the word i have a giveaway i will be posting next week. see ya soon! jen t .

sorry for the lack of posting last week....

hi all, i must say, i had a very busy week last week! we had the chance to babysit my 1 yr.old nephew greyson and let me tell you he is a fun and cute little kid!!but at the same time mike and i were sick so we tagged teamed taking care of the kids so one another could try to fight off the sinus/throat/ear infections we both had..that was the worst part..the best part was spending time with our nephew and celebrating my dh's birthday and getting to go a couple places when we felt better!! we got to go to a bird show at my dd's school and we got to go to the aquarium in pt. pleasant and saw the penguins and some really cool fish! greyson loved the fish!(of course i forgot my camara! ..ughh!)...so here i am finally posting today....this week so far has started out good i hope the rest of it turns out better! let me leave you with some silly pics from the week and a saying i love that my fortune cookie said a few weeks ago : you will never know your full potential, until you try. oh and the 3rd pic is my bad 1st and last attempt at making candy apples!lol! they tasted good but we had more fun calling them crappy apples all day!lol! have a great day! jen t.
