Club scrap technique challenge- flowers

Hi all, happy Saturday! Hope you all are getting the summer-like weather like we are here for a couple days before we go back to spring weather again. With that said donna's club scrap technique challenge is perfect for your spring pages. Grab your papers and make flowers. For the page, i my made flowers to accent the picture of my daughters with snapchat filter. First, i punched out the vellum paper backing from the cherry blossoms stickers from the kit . Then, i stamped flowers on to the silver paper then fussy cut them out. I then layered them together and added a sequin on top. Lastly, i did a ton of layering behind their picture, added a cutapart and tag for the date and a title with letters from my stash.  To play along and join the challenge go here and to get your hands on the cherry blossoms  kit go here. Thanks for stopping by and happy creating! Club scrap team challenge blog hop

hi all, welcome to the club scrap artist team challenge blog hop. if you are hopping along with us then you are here from hetty's blog  if you get lost along the way or want to start from the beginning go to Karen's post on the club scrap blog.  the artist team challenge was to use the bouquet stamps on our projects. today , I am sharing with you a 12 x 12 page I made using fuchsia, black and silver cardstock and mats from the cherry blossoms kit and the challenge stamp set. i just love the bold look of the flowers when I stamped them on white cardstock so I fussycut them out and added them in a cluster and in the corner adding foam to the back of some for dimension. then, I stamped out the saying from the cherry blossoms stamp set and added it next to the picture of my teenager with her fav saying as the title- be happy.  lastly, I added those pretty flower sequins and enamel drops to the page.

Hope you are having fun hopping along with us and getting some awesome inspiration. if you are hopping with us, then you are here from josette's blog . If you want to start from the beginning or get lost along the way head to karen's post on the club scrap blog here. Today i am sharing with you a page i made using all the goodies from the cherry blossom deluxe kit. I just love the purples in the papers they matched my dd's dress perfectly! To make my background i started with the club scrap white cardstock and gessoed it to take my gelatos smudged with the water and plastic packaging technique then for a faux ink oxide look i sprayed peroxide onto the page and got a cool speckled look. I will definitely use that technique again:) then i fussy cut out the gorgeous cherry blossom blooms , added some cutaparts behind the pics and added tags with ribbon for texture. Lastly, i added those pretty lil flower stickers to finish the page. Thanks for stopping by and have fun hopping!

creative with stamps baby card challenge#13

Hi all, happy spring! I hope spring is finally finding you where you are at because i think it is finally here in new jersey :) today i am stopping by to share two cards i made for the creative with stamps challenge blog dt. I am super excited to be apart of this talented team! The challenge theme this month is baby and it is their blogs 1st anniversary too. Make sure you link up your baby cards there for a chance to win some awesome prizes!

boy card

girl card

For these 4.25" x 5.5" cards i started with a white card blank and used the plastic packaging technique with various green and pink inks to make a separate boy and girl card using simliar items i had in my stash. The lil baby clothesline clothes are from a old see d's stamp set i have and i used my spectrum noir markers to match. I then glued some twine, doily , and sequins to add a sparkly touch. Oh and the welcome is stamped with my enormous stampin'up rotary stamp that i love to make custom words with. Lastly, to finish it off i inked the edges of them both.

Club scrap artist team challenge blog hop

hi all, welcome to the team challenge blog hop! if you are hopping along with us then you are here  from  hetty's blog.  if you get lost along the way or want to start from the beginning head to karens post at  the club scrap blog

For the team challenge we were asked to incorporate the club scrap digital elements into our project. I kinda had some printer issues and the first few pages i tried to print printed in black and white then after fiddling with my printer setting i got it to print in color and then my computer froze ... yada yada i have three colored copies of the same page and ran out of ink.. lol!

digital elements printed on computer paper

So what to do with multiples. Make a background. Since my page was about sewing i sewed the printed cutaparts out and made the background. I added some matted layers to my photo and added my title. It was sew much fun ;)

My cs technique challenge page

Hi all, today i am stopping by to share a 12x12  page i made for the club scrap technique ( creating your own backgrounds) challenge using the cs delft kit.  Remember that page i misted a lil while back with the cracked porcelain stencil?  Yup i used that as the background to my pictures on this page. I just cut the square part of it out and added it to the beautiful navy blue cardstock.

I then fussy cut out pretty flowers from various patterned papers from the kit. I then matted the pic in yellow and light blue and then brought the yellow around the page with lil punched circle centers.

To join the tina's technique challenge head here:

Giant yellow brad and letter stickers are from my stash .

Think spring!wreath i made using goodies from Oriental trading

Think spring!!!!

Hi all, well it was spring-like here for a lil while but we are back to cold weather again. So let's all think spring and craft spring. Remember my OT happy mail from a couple weeks back?! Well, I made a fun and springy wreath with it all:) I first, started with the wreath frame and instead of wrapping the frame with a fluffy technique that is popular i decided to fold the wide ribbon as i wrapped it to add a cool layered texture. Also i kept it flat-ish so i could add the wooden eggs on top with my bow and chipboard eggs. The flowers and lil eggs i used are diecuts layered onto chipboard shapes that came with the kit and the large eggs are the wooden standup eggs less the stands covered with the pretty scrapbook paper. Lastly, i inked the pieces ,layered them and glued them on to the burlap covered wreath. Check out my pics and more info below . Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!!!

To get your hands on products i have used click link below:

Items i used from oriental trading:

My reviews:

Wreath frame- a lil flimsy but much sturdier when wrapped with burlap ribbon and a great deal for 3

Surebonder coolshot mini glue gun/glue sticks - glue comes out slow- so slow i grabbed my liquid adhesive to finish my project- will be giving it to the kids to use

Burlap ribbon  - nice and wide and a ton on a roll - love it!

Wooden Easter Egg standups - i used without the stands - got alot and leftovers for other projects with my kids

We r memory keeper. Tool kit w magnetic mat-  great tool set. Tools are lightweight and work great bonus for being hot pink πŸ’•

Easter escapade paper kit- super deal- papers are cute and set even came with buttons brads and chipboard shapes for under $5 😳

items i used from my stash:

Craft Liquid glue

prima brown ink

Wire cutter

Disclaimer- Oriental trading  has sent me products to review, but all opinions are my own.

Below are a pictures of how i made my easter wreath and the final pics with close-ups
