Club scrap june pattern play blog hop

Hi all, welcome to the june club scrap pattern play bloghop! If you get lost along the way or want to start at the beginning head to Karen's post on the club scrap blog . If you have already started hopping then you are here from the talented hetty's blog  Today i am sharing with you a page of my lil guy when he was a lil bean. I just loved that hat on him! The greens in these papers worked great with the grass in the picture and made him standout on the page. I used the hello sunshine wood veneer from the club scrap shop and added silver ink onto it to match my page. Did i mention i love these big wood veneer titles?! They are awesome! The silver design in the paper reminded me of a sunburst and that is how i decided to put that pattern paper next to my pic. I then matted and layered my pic and cut out some designs from other kit pattern papers to make my page pop. I looove this color scheme!

club scap page using the sketchabilities #149 sketch

Hi all , It's me again! :) i am popping on real quick before i get the kiddos in the bath and ready for bed:)  For this page i used the sketch from the sketchabilities blog challenge and the club scrap pattern play stamps and papers. I first started with some freeform stamping the two background stamps in lime green and black in kinds of a circle-ish shape to make my background- see pics below-

Then i tore open a treat bag that came with the kit and used that as my layer and tearing papers and adding layeres. I then fussycut out some leaves and hexagons from other pattern papers and layered them in around tye picture adding more enamel dots to the corners to finish the page. Oh those cool apple green alphas were thickers from my stash.

Club scrap technique challenge page and cards using the stuck sketch

Hi all, today i am stopping by to share a page and two cards i made last night. This kit got my crafty mojo going it is beautiful! For the page i used the stuck sketch and i adored the heart background and made it texture for the club scrap technique challenge too.
I used the club scrap twin tags honeycomb stencil with white whipped spackle to make my heart shape. I then misted and dripped green and silver ink around the page and layered my papers on top. Adding the matte enamel dots from the kit to finish it  . See pics below.

Club scrap june team challenge blog hop

Hi all, welcome to the club scrap team challenge blog hop . To hop along with us or if you get lost along the way head to club scraps blog for Karen's post to get the blog links or start from the beginning. If you are hopping along from the start then you are here from the talented  josette's blog. This months team challenge we were to use just one photo and one piece of paper and embellishments could be used. For my page i used one of the gorgeous cutapart sheets from June 's pattern play kit as a whole paper because i loved the sayings and the grid design. So i thought i would make this page all about texture since I couldn't do my usual layering( you all know i love layers) i found a pic of my son hanging out in our backyard evergreen tree that i had printed in black and white and 2x3  to put on one of the cutaparts in the grid design. Then in the far right of the paper i cut two slits to wrap the green ribbon around and secured it with washi tape on the backside. i then stamped leaf pattern stamp with india ink on the top of the ribbon. Next i hand stiched ombre black/ grey embroidery floss in between all the blocks. On the middle leaf I didn't want that word to show so i stamped the same leaf stamp right over the word and then glued the green feather over it. I also added another green feather over onto the left as well to make my green visual  triangle.  Lastly i added the matte enamel dots to some of the designs as centers for more interest. Next be sure to hop to the talented
Hetty's blog to see her awesome project. Check out my page below and some close-ups

Oriental tradIng summer fun goodies aka #operationkeepembusy

Hi all, happy summer! Today i am popping on to share some fun goodies we got from Oriental trading to keep the kids busy playing outside aka operationkeepembusy. We had a blast in the yard yesterday and we can't wait to set up all our goodies to play with again! I just love the double reinforced bean bags and the large sharpie markers. I drew big numbers 1-10 on them to use for the hopscotch game and for my son the put in order and put into the bucket when he is inside as well.   The kids made a ton of bubbles with these large bubble wands and had fun chasing and popping them too. Then drew beautiful art on our back patio with the crayola chalk( best sidewalk chalk by far and we have used alot of kinds over the years) my 14 yr old loved that the chalks came with black an, peach and grey colors in the assortment.we added every thing into one of the colorful plastic buckets to keep all our supplies in. We loved these buckets so much i put each of my kids names on one and they have their own special toy bucket for their rooms now. Make sure you check out the pics below of our fun day and check out the summer selection of toys and summer outdoor fun here or

Cws fruit challenge #15 mid-month inspiration

Hi all, today i am sharing with you a second card i made for the creative with stamps fruit challenge. I used the heck out of my lil cherry stamp and made a background for this card as well . I colored it in with my prima oil pastels and added shimmer glitter to add sparkle . Lastly, i added a fun sentiment and popped it up with foam tape for interest and inked the edges with black ink.

Cws June fruit challenge #15

Hi all, today i am sharing with you a card i made for the creative with stamps june challenge. The challenge this month is fruit. I have a ton of stamps and thought this would be easy to find in my stash but apparently I don't have as many fruit stamps as I thought. I did however find one cherry stamp in a raisin boat birthday cupcake stamp set i had and ran with it. I stamped the cherry randomly  on a big piece of cardstock to make a background with it to make two cards( you will have to wait til the middle of the month to see the other card ;)) i then used my red prima oil pastel and a waterbrush to color them in. I added some shimmer glue to the cherries along with a thinking of you stamp  popped with foam tape . Lastly, i added ribbon and sequins to finish it . To join the challenge go here
---Pink polkadot paper, sentiment stamp, ribbon and sequins are from inspired by stamping--
