Hi all, happy tuesday!! I am sharing with you yet another 6x6 gate fold card and envelope i made using... kaisercrafts honey chai..( did you figure out by now that i love this collection) . To make this card i first started with a 6x 12 piece of the green wood grain paper and folded it on the 3 and 6 inch then folded inward toward the middle. I then cutout a journal card i liked for the top of the card but the saying wasn't what i needed it to say so i took a piece of the striped pp and but it over the words to  add my you and me stickers on top. I then adhered only the left half of the journal card to the flap and added a butterfly stickers folded added to the edge of each flap. Lastly i printed a poem , inked all edges if the card and matted it to the floral paper and added pearls to the flowers and butterflies to fancy it up a little bit more. Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!  Jen t.

Moxxie autumn glory thank you card

Hi all!! Jen t. here. I am stopping by to share a fall card i made using the autumn glory collection. I just love the rich colors in this collection! To make this card i first cut a piece of the fanciful flowers paper into a 6 x 12 piece then folded it in half, using the floral design on the front bottom corner. Then i placed the beautiful autumn letter stickers to spell thank you . Next, i cut a piece of the barcode strip from the foliage in flight and cut it into a lil banner to put next to the thank you. I then fussy cut out the flowers from the corner of another fanciful flowers sheet ans popdotted it onto the base to give it   dimension. lastly, i used gold stickles to outline and highlight the middle flower and gold ink around the edges. I lastly, wanted to make the letters stand out more so I used a fine tip brown marker to outline the letters.thanks for stopping by and happy creating!

 Fanciful Flowers

 AG-1456

Wedding day using page for ss using kaisercraft honey chai

Hi all, happy tuesday!!! Have you gotten your hands on the kaisercraft honey chai collection yet? It is so fun to create with!!! It is a beautiful paper collection! For this week i made a page with a pic i found recently of my parents wedding. I just love the black and white photos on these romantic and floral patterned papers. I first put the diecut frame onto the floral paper and grabbed bits and scraps from my other projects and layered them. then, i played with the stickers and used the two floral clusters opposite each other and laid the border sticker on top. Next to add texture i added a doily flower from my stash and placed a flower sticker on top. Lastly, i added letter stickers to make the title and added some bling and rubons from my stash for interest. Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!! Jen t.

What i used:
kaisercraft honey chai papers, diecut paper and stickers

From my stash: pink paislee rubons, and green gems

You are no. 1!!! Card for speedy scrappers

Hi all, happy tuesday!!!  I am excited to share a fun card i made with ya today using the papers from the blast off kaisercraft and border stickers from the hello sunshine kaisercraft collection.  It is a 6 x6 card (my fav size) with a square window. I first cut out the word paper and used it as a base and then adhered the red star cutout on top.  I looked at it and didn't like it so i saw my alien cutout and thought it would look cute peeking out of the card. So ,To make the square window i busted out my old school fiskars shape cutting board and picked a square closest to the size of my lil alien and held my breath as i cut thru the two layers of paper without a mistake and swoo! It did! :D i then put him from behind on to the inside of the card, added the sticker border strips to the top and added some punched out and pop-dotted shapes for dimension. Next i cutout the words you are and made it into a banner for the top left corner Then for a little sparkle i added layered white and green sequins for the aliens eyes and a dot a gold stickles on the eyes and star for some sparkle. thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!   jen t. :)

Back to nature shadow box using moxxie's happy camper line

Hi all, how is your summer going? I can't believe summer is half over already! my favorite part of summer is getting outside more. So i thought to get the feel of bringing the outside in when I have to be inside would be to make some fun home decor. So, i used the happy camper collection to make a fun little shadow box to hang in my hallway.  I first, grabbed an old watch box lid that i had (the other half i used on a past project) so it is a two-fer and up cycling in one. I then grabbed my brown acrylic paint and rubbed it all over the box for a distressed look . Next i looked at the die cuts and saw the wood look frame... the size matched the box (i lucked out) then i grabbed  some more die cuts and papers to try and started adding the layers. On the inside is the green plaid paper followed by a oval die cut and then the tree die cut with pop dots behind it . Next, i added a back to nature sticker on top with pop dots behind also. I then glued the frame die cut on the edges and added a flower i made using the pretty brown polka dot paper and a butterfly punch and added a tree brad to hold it all together. Lastly i added the swirls next to the flower and tied a ribbon to the top. Oh! I almost forgot, the striped banner sticker i wrapped around the edges to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!  --jen t.

What Moxxie goodies i used:

Other things i used:
American crafts ribbon
Rangerpopdots
Zipdry glue
Butterfly punch
Metal tree brad

collage thank you card using kaisercraft honey chai for Speedy scrappers

Hi all, happy tuesday!!! Jen t. Here stopping by to share a card i made using the kaisercraft honey chai collection. And guess what it  is not a 6 x6 card.. It is a 5 x 6 card this time:)  I first had it as a 6 x 6 card but when I added the peach journal card and added the sticker borders I didn't like how my edge looked so I trimmed it off. I  then added the letter stickers from the collection to spell out thank you and fussy cut out some cute birds and butterflies from the glossy patterned paper and adhered them  (the butterfly and added a lil popdot for dimension) and then I took two of the black and white flower stickers and layered them with a popdot in between too and adhered that. then in my stash I found a pretty green ribbon to accent the card and a matching
glitter brad that I put in the flower center. lastly, I distressed and inked the edges for a shabby chic sorta look . thanks for stopping by and happy creating!!

Creative blog tour

Hi all, today I am doing a fun post. I was asked to join a creative blog tour and i am excited to be following some awesomely talented ladies!

my friend Ange from   http://scrappingcompulsion.blogspot.com asked me to join in this tour. I met ange on another dt I am also on and realized what a fun, sweet and talented lady she is!  I just love her creative style!
I will tag another creative lady at the end of my post to continue on with the tour.

****
What am I working on?

here is a peek of a project I just finished using MOXXIE  happy camper (sorry, I can't show you yet but keep an eye on my blog for pics to come)
but here are some other projects I just completed recently that I can show you:)

2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?

I like to use the basic tools in different ways and I like to challenge myself to make projects with limited supplies and papers. I also, want a beginner papercrafter to think i can make that and hopefully inspire someone to try a new technique or papers they thought they would not normally use.
3. Why do I write/create what I do?
papercrafting is my passion. constantly challenging myself and making things is what drives me. I call it my therapy because it calms me, especially after a hard day of momming three kiddos. I also, like to share my ideas and work with others and passion for papercrafting in hopes to inspire more people to papercraft.
4. How does your writing/creating process work?
I first pick out the papers that i want to work with and then i let the theme or patterns inspire the project. Then i create the project, take pics of it, then i blog and post to social media about it.
