Oriental trading - washi tape

Hi all, happy new year!

Hope your year is off to a good start. Today i am sharing with you
5 quick and easy cards i made with washi tape from Oriental Trading. For the first card, i used the travel washi tape set and laid the strips down on a diagonal with space on the top for the sentiment. I then, cut a piece of cardstock in tan and put strips of the green washi across it . next, i diecut the word thanks and adhered it to my 6 x6 card. After that card, i got on a roll (pun intended) lol!  and used the same idea for the other 4 cards but changing the direction of the washi and then stamping with stamps from my stash in the open areas. I just love how they came out! So simple, fun and a great way to make your own pattern paper. check out the pics below.

Fyi- to check out the awesome washi tapes i used and many more go here:

Oriental trading valentine’s day decor

Hi all,
Love is in the air ❤️ lol! I finally packed up Christmas decor and started on valentine’s day. I made my mantle so pretty with decor from Oriental trading . I just fell in love ( pun intended) with the gold and white decor! So since i had sooo much fun making over my lil mantle for Christmas i just had to keep my momentum going and do valentines day decor right after, right?!
So to bring a pop of red in, since i had mostly white decor i used red ribbon and red tassel garland to bring the red around the mantle. On the mirror is a white washed happy valentines day plaque that i hung in the center and added a lil ribbon bow. Next is the set of white glass lanterns ( on on each side) that i added a red bow to and a glass glitter votive inside.   In the middle, i addded  really  cool white and gold X O letters. They are so pretty! To add more shimmer i added two more glittery votives and a red ribbon tied around. Lastly, i add a gold heart banner and red tassel banner to complete the look. I had a ton of fun decorating my mantle and getting it ready for valentines day! check out my pics below.

And in case I don’t say it often, i love you all and thanks for visiting my blog! Have a great day and happy creating!

Oriental tradIng summer fun goodies aka #operationkeepembusy

Hi all, happy summer! Today i am popping on to share some fun goodies we got from Oriental trading to keep the kids busy playing outside aka operationkeepembusy. We had a blast in the yard yesterday and we can't wait to set up all our goodies to play with again! I just love the double reinforced bean bags and the large sharpie markers. I drew big numbers 1-10 on them to use for the hopscotch game and for my son the put in order and put into the bucket when he is inside as well.   The kids made a ton of bubbles with these large bubble wands and had fun chasing and popping them too. Then drew beautiful art on our back patio with the crayola chalk( best sidewalk chalk by far and we have used alot of kinds over the years) my 14 yr old loved that the chalks came with black an, peach and grey colors in the assortment.we added every thing into one of the colorful plastic buckets to keep all our supplies in. We loved these buckets so much i put each of my kids names on one and they have their own special toy bucket for their rooms now. Make sure you check out the pics below of our fun day and check out the summer selection of toys and summer outdoor fun here or
