i have been a busy bee!

i am 38 now xmas tags birthday card i made for my grandma --she just turned 92 lo of our wedding day school pic kayla and wiskers our nephew james hi all, yes i have been a busy bee trying to get lo's and cards done for iig challenges,my own album(i de-stress when i create) in betweeen getting xmas shopping/wrapping, cookie baking,and food shopping in.lots to do.....so i am popping in to show you some pages and cards i have worked on. thanks for looking! have a great holiday! jen t.

hi all, i am putting these stamps sets by paper trey ink on the top of my wish list...i love that they leave a space for you to put a button after you stamp....these stamps look fab!!! maybe santa will get me these for christmas! :) if not.. i know what i am using some of my x-mas $ for!lol! have a great holiday in case i don't get to talk to you! jen t( sorry i forgot the color of the pic is the same as my blog background..if you hit refresh when looking at my post you will see the stamp images real fast...sorry about that! ).

need a quick card?

hi all, need a quick card? try using a colored premade cardbase and a journaling spot/tag. in this card i used a sassafrass journal card,i embellished it, added my words and wahallaa! a fun card!...(the inside of this card i put "you are!")i can't wait to make another with the other journal tags i have :) ttys! groovy chick jen t. :) need more card ideas? head on over to if its groovy to see what the talented dt has made this month

my version

hi all, so i went to the scrapbook expo in somerset n.j. about a week or so compliments of winning a ticket from the scrapbook cafe. and so i found a few good bargains while i was there like $1.75 thickers and $1.00 bling swirls and my fav.... free two page kit from storytellers club....and while i was there i found ta glimmer mist that i have been dyeing to get!... i did buy it but then i thought i can make my own version so much cheaper and make my own colors and so i experimented and i came up with my version ...i got a squirt bottle from walmart $1. and i used the pink pearl-ex and dye ink i had and added water and wahllla! i had my own version on the cheap :) so my recipe is half the bottle with water,10 squirts of dye ink,2- 1/8 tsp. scoops of pearl-ex in similar color and give a good shake before squirting everytime. :)here are some pics of what i used above and a before and after pic of the chipboard i shimmered up. i love how it came out!!well got to go! tell me your favorite budget friendly versions of products! i would love to hear about them! ttys! jen t. aka new card dt groovy girl
