Playing with watercolors!! So fun!

Hi all, i am really excited to share a couple of fun projects i made using goodies i got from oriental trading. The first project i made is a 4 x  6 card . I first cut the watercolor paper and folded it to make a card base. Then, i took 3 gel sticks in the green and blues and scribbled it on the card front. The gel sticks are just like a lipstick and go on really smooth. Next, I  used a water pen that i had or you can use a cup of water and a paintbrush and went over it all making it all blend as i went. i set it aside and let it dry. After i did that i stamped these super cute images( i love the girl and the dog) with  permanent ink onto the watercolor paper. Then more fun began, i began coloring with the watercolor pencils. I loved the container it came in and the quality of the pencils is excellent. I then used my water pen again to blend all the colors cleaning the brush between color changes and did the same with the dog. Lastly, i fussy cut both out and adhered it to the card and added hi with stickers from my stash. For the jumbo tag, i cut out the shape from the watercolor paper and then used the same technique with the gel sticks to make the background and black around the edges. After it was dry i stamped the saying and swirl on the tag with black permanent ink and added a metal butterfly( from my old necklace) and some crinkle ribbon at the top.  I had so much fun making these! The products i reviewed are: 

Great quality cling stamps! These come on a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet with holes in it for  3 ring binder storage( love that!) these stamps are super cute!! 

These stamps are my favorite saying. The are also a clear cling stamp and these came on about a 5 inch piece of acetate.  Also, great quality and both stamp sets stamped a great and crisp  image. 

The watercolor paper was nice and thick, thicker than your thickest cardstock with a slight texture to it to really hold up to the water. Love it! 

This watercolor pencils are of great quality and the colors are beautiful! They came in this cool plastic container that folds to become a stand( love this!) 

These gel sticks are so fun to use! They went on smoothly and the colors are so nice! And it came with a paint brush. 

Overall, i am extremely pleased with all the products and their performances!
