Club scrap paris fleamarket blog hop

Hi all, welcome to the club scrap paris fleamarket blog hop! Hope you are loving the amazing projects from the other blogs so far!! Today i am sharing a page and a card i made with this beautiful kit.
For the page i started with the gorgeous silver and black patterned paper then i used the fun frame stencil and texture spackle to add dimension to the page. next, i grabbed the shimmery pink patterned paper and paper mats and punched flowers and butterflies. Oh and grey paper for the swirls( see pics below) then i layered and pop dotted them on along with my pic of my mom and I.  I found this pic recently and decided to rescrap it. It is one of the few pics i have of my mom and me together. I treasure it more than ever as it will be almost 8 years since we lost her to colon cancer.- sorry my thoughts got side tracked.i miss her. .... Then i stamped on white diecuts with that beautiful scroll and thinking of you stamp. And for the always word i masked it off from another sentiment stamp from the other um stamp set. Lastly i added the ribbon and metal embellishments and finished with grey ink splashes( make sure you don't make my mistake and forget to cover your picture while splashing your page with ink... Lol! ) luckily i was able to dab most off and save my pic from a inky disaster:)
Then for my card i just love the fleur de lis so i made a grey cardbase and added the pretty pink patterned paper( say that five times fast.. Lol) then i cut a piece of paper mat and added that on top and lastly fussy cut the fleur de lis and placed that on the top layer. I then stamped the happy birthday from the um stamp set with silver ink and edged the card in silver ink as well. I had sooo much fun creating with this kit! here are some pics of my process and finished page and card. Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!

Oh my, what a beautiful lay out and such a great use of the stencil. I love how you created the butterfly with the charm. And the card with all the bling is perfect. Great work Jennifer.

Jennifer, what a fun group of projects. I absolutely love how you thought outside the box and used the paste with the stencil to create extra interest in the background paper for your layout. WONDERFUL!!
