club scrap july team challenge blog hop

Hi all, thanks for being here! If you are hopping along with us then you are here from Josette's blog or if you want to start from the beginning head to Karen's club scrap post here .
This months team challenge is to make pages, cards, or other projects featuring a “frame” (or frames) designed using rubber stamps or stencils. For my page all papers and stamps used are from the vintage botany deluxe kit. Below are pics of some of my page process. I had a blast using this beautiful kit!

Framed rose stamp - i stamped it two times to make the mat for the two pics of my daughter
I stamped the two large floral stamps in the middle of my page

For the frame around the pics i used the club scrap Literature stencil and black india ink-
To make the frame larger than the stencil i had i dabbed ink at the tip half way down then slid the stencil and only inked the sides then moved again inking the bottom half - i used stickles and liquid pearls for some peach accents and shimmer along with ink splats and squins

12 x 12  page

Close-up----the strips of paper are from the cutaparts sheet and the lace is also from the kit . The peach crochet  doily is  from an old shirt i had( everything has craft potential in my mind.. lol! ) that i cut apart and the butterfly was a rak from a crafty friend

Pagemaps sketch i found on Pinterest i used to make my page

Next up is hetty's blog here  and to get your hands on all things club scrap go here

I love your artsy style Jennifer! Your creativity with the frames is on point. Brilliant idea to enlarge the frame! I'm drawn to the pops of color on your flowers. Such a simple accent, but really creates a 'wow' factor! What a great way to enhance the photo of your pretty girl!

Wow! I love that pop of green in your flowers! Gorgeous layering. Very crafty on extending the stenciled image. Nicely done.

I don't think this spread could have gotten any better, Jennifer. I love the simplicity of the first page and how it tempers the more complex second page. That's using your artist eye for sure!
